We are capable of simple, CLIA-waved, lab testing such as urinalyasis and streptococcus testing. We have pulse oximetry, an automated electronic defibrillator and EKG machine. We are not equipped to address acute emergencies such as chest pain, respiratory distress, altered level of consciousness or trauma. Such emergencies will be directed to the local emergency room.
Currently, we can provide:
- Urine pregnancy testing
- Evaluation of urinary tract infections
- Evaluation of respiratory illness
- Medication refills
- Social Services information
- Flu Vaccines
- Hypertension Screening
- Diabetes Screening
Major medical complications such as lacerations, fractures (broken bones), chest pain and seizures as well as severe respiratory problems should be seen in our local emergency department. When possible, and if available, medications will be provided free of charge. If this is not possible, we will try to make arrangements to get them at low cost from local pharmacies.
We are not a continuity clinic and do not provide Disability, Social Security or Workman’s Comp evaluation. We do not store nor dispense pain medications/narcotics. Your personal information and visits will always be confidential. In addition to medical care, you will have access to someone who will provide you with information about social services available in the Tracy area.
At Tracy Free Clinic we have a social worker on site. Our goal is to utilize existing community resources who share our mission, to provide health and psychosocial needs. |
